Hi Jon and Jack,
The trip sounds great!
My wife and I have been planning this trip in reverse London to(home)Melbourne for the past 6 months. We noticed that you may be interested in having someone drive your Prado back to Australia. We are actually still looking for a suitable Land Cruiser for the trip which will depart March09. We would love to hear if your interested?
Happy Trails

Hi Jon and Jack
I returned from Kahzakstan last week and on a recent trip to charing canyon's along the silk road, and came to the conclusion you may not be aware of the 3rd lane driving concept in Kahzaktstn whereby unlike here in Australia where we wait for a space in the trafic, they constantly overtake while oncoming trafic heads for the sides of the road.
I hope you have a great and safe trip
  kind regards
     David F
PS. dont go to the public toilets!!!

Hi Jon and Jack,
After a long discussion with my hubby we came up with a name for the car--Hercules--.
The car has to be very good for you, but also strong and reliable...like HERKULES.
Good luck with your adventure,we will follow your route with great envy.

Ofcourse Jon.
We completed an around Australia journey last year in 144 days. Our chariot was Fosester GT...champaigne pink...was a constant in journey and had a character of it's own...simply refered to as 'baby'.

Guys,

I like Nellie because :

*If you treat her right, she'll never let you down.
*She'll go as high or as low as possible.
*Like her equine namesakes, she'll do exactly what she wants to do at times ;)
*She's got four on the floor most of the time
*She needs a good feed (OK, it's diesel, not hay) and a bit of TLC occasionally.
*Like Dame Nellie, she's got class, if only because you two are with her.

Just my thoughts.

You realise that the end of this trip will be just the beginning?

Best wishes,

Ian.

Once you have all had the opportunity to bond, a name will become evident, one might say automatic.

Have a fabulous and safe adventure!

Safe trip.
